3 Key things to consider when planning to open a website or blog

In this very quick changing internet world these days, it's hard to survive without a website or blog while doing a business and the most amazing part is whether you like it or not you're going to visit a website or a blog at some point. We use social media more and more every single day, others even tend to think that social media presence is better than the website but honestly websites are more professional though you would have to connect it with social media pages to make it more flexible and appealing to clients.

Building websites and blogs have increasingly become so much easier than never before but there are 3 key things to consider when starting a website in this year 2020.

These are 3 important things to be put into consideration:

Hosting.

Hosting is one of the most important aspects to consider when planning to begin a website or blog, basically hosting can be simply defined as an online home for storing or keeping website content. After building your website and buying a business Domain name, you need a place to keep your content as well the website, and this service is offered by Hosting companies online.

There are different kinds of hosting such as Shared hosting, virtual private server(VPS) hosting, Dedicated server hosting, Managed Hosting, and free hosting.

There are many companies offering hosting services at affordable prices starting from $2.95 per month and some even offers free hosting but free hosting are not any good option for business websites and blogs.

Free hosting sites examples are Blogger, WordPress, Wix and many more but popular good paid hosting services are -Bluehost, Namecheap, Hostgator, etc

If your planning to begin your website or blog, I would recommend you use Bluehost since is cheap $2.95 per month and it gives you a free Domain name for a year.

Social Media integration.

You don't need to keep thinking that Social media presence is better than a professional website however you should make sure that your website is flexible enough to be integrated with social media to makes it much more efficient.

When designing your website, you should be able to use widgets that make it flexible and easy to incorporate tweets, Instagram posts, Facebook discussion, etc from the site itself. This should work in a way that if you post on social media, a click on the post should lead to the website.

Speed

People have changed so quickly and are not willing to wait for more than 5 seconds while the website or blog is loading. people now need everything to be quick and in case of any delay, they are more willing to withdraw and the same thing applies to internet users currently therefore speed is a very important key to consider when building a website.

When building your website, do not make it too data-heavy by embedding high-quality media because it will make it load slowly hence causing you to lose a lot of traffic to the website or blog which in turn will affect your business performance.
